First up, hang on tight! Our friendly bilingual guide will lead us through an exciting time rafting some serious Class III rapids. Together in one boat we'll paddle, bounce and splash our way down the Balsa River, enjoying the scenery when we can! Life moves pretty fast on Class III rapids so be ready!

White Water River Tubing Balsa River Class I/II Rapids

After our adrenaline pumping raft adventure is complete, we'll stop to have a snack, then change it up a bit! This next part is more mellow but still just as fun, and now you're on your own too! The Class I-II rapids take you down the Balsa at a bit slower pace. That's a good thing because it's just you and your tube. You can go anywhere the river takes you. Restrictions: River rafting in Costa Rica is a fun yet challenging activity. You must be in good physical condition to participate. The Class II/III rapids of the Balsa River are considered fairly easy to navigate. The maximum recommended age for this tour is 55 years old.
