Restrictions: River tubing in Costa Rica is a lot of fun but can be challenging as well. You must be in good physical condition to participate. Maximum recommended age is 55 years old. Pregnant woman and those with back problems will not be able to participate.

Insider Tip: White water tubing in Costa Rica really was the highlight of our honeymoon. It was not the lazy river float I was accustomed to in Oregon, these rapids are so much more fun! (Don’t worry, you can still have a beer at the end for old time’s sake). There is also a combo tour so you can try rafting & tubing on the same day if you want to get a taste of both.
