Departures: Arenal horseback riding departs up to 2 times daily at 8:30 AM & 1:30 PM from most La Fortuna & Arenal hotels. Pick up times start up to 30 minutes prior to the tour start time. Exact meeting times and instructions will be provided on your confirmed voucher.

Children: Minimum age is 6 years old. Children pay the same price as an adult. Children can ride with their parents so long as they do not exceed the maximum weight of 110 kg (240 lbs). If you are traveling with a multi-generational family and not everyone wants to participate, you can book a Hot Springs pass for only $18 and enjoy the hot springs while the rest of your family is off enjoying their activities.
Restrictions: Horseback riding is not recommended for people with back or neck injuries or pregnant women. For the safety of the horses and the riders, the maximum weight is 110 kg (240lbs) to participate.
