Q: What is the difference between Private and Shuttle service?
A: Shuttle service is a comfortable and safe way to travel from the airport or between destinations while saving money by sharing the space with fellow travellers. Shuttles between cities depart 2 times daily in most cases. Private is just that, private transportation for just you and those travelling with you. Private transportation runs on your schedule, no waiting for shuttle departure times.
Q: What kind of vehicle are you using and how many people will be sharing my transportation?
A: Smaller vehicles are environmentally friendly and much more economical. We use 15 passenger vans that are converted to offer a comfortable ride up to 8 passengers with plenty of room to safely store your luggage. If you have a family of 4, most likely there will only be one more family or maybe a pair of couples sharing the service with you.
* Occasionally we use 30 passenger buses if we have a larger group; however we limit the passengers to 16 to ensure we maintain the comfort level.
Q: How do I book from the airport to other destinations other than San Jose?
A:Our Airport Shuttle Service is for hotels in the San Jose area only. If traveling to regions outside of San Jose, you will first need to book an Airport Shuttle to a nearby hotel (we suggest Hampton Inn), then book a continuing hotel to hotel shuttle service Interbus Please contact one of our Activities Specialists to assist you as we would need to confirm that your flight itinerary would work with our shuttle schedules. If arriving in the afternoon, although it is possible to book private transportation, we highly recommend you book your first night in San Jose after a long day of air travel. We will pick you up in the morning and send you on your well after a good night's sleep.
Q: How do I find you at the airport?
A: At the Airport you will be greeted right outside the International Arrivals terminal by one of our representatives wearing a white shirt with the Interbus logo and carrying a sign with the Interbus logo as well. They will assist you with your luggage and take you to your reserved vehicle.
Q: How do I find you at my hotel?
A: Just be present in your hotel lobby at the appropriate time and our representative will check in with reception. Be sure to have your voucher ready to present to the operator to ensure you receive the correct service.
Q: Can I pay with Credit Card when I arrive?
A: In order to receive the cash discount, you must pay the balance in cash upon arrival. If you wish to use a credit card for payment, you must contact the operator directly 72 hours prior to arrival to complete the payment using a credit card as they will not have access to a card processing terminal on board the vehicles. Instructions will be provided with your reservation confirmation.
Q: Are there restrooms on the vehicles?
A: No, we do not have restrooms on board. We do however stop for one to two 20 minute intervals at either a Soda (local restaurant) or a Gift shop where you can purchase snacks, beverages, and use the restrooms which we ensure are well maintained and clean.
Q: How much luggage am I allowed to bring?
A: Each passenger is allowed one full-sized piece of luggage to be stored in the back of the vehicle and one carry-on to be held by the passenger. Additional luggage must be reserved in advance and will be subject to additional charges on the day of service. Please note on your reservation if you have additional luggage to ensure the space is available. Car seats are available upon request at no additional charge but must be reserved in advance.
Q: Can my pet travel with me?
A: Sorry, no animals are permitted except service dogs.
