Restrictions: River rafting in Costa Rica is a fun yet challenging activity. You must be in good physical condition to participate. The Class II/III rapids of the Balsa River are considered fairly easy to navigate. For more information on the classes of rivers, see our blog.
Insider Tip: This is a long day, packed with adventure! You’ll want extra clothes, preferably quick-dry items and items you can layer. You definitely want water shoes! You definitely do NOT want flip-flops!
