Departures: Departs twice daily at 8:00 am and 1:30 pm. Hotel pick-ups begin up to one hour prior to departure depending your hotel location. Exact meeting instructions will be provided on your confirmation voucher sent via email.

Children: Due to the number of stairs, we do not recommend this tour for children under the age of 5 years old. Kids ages 5 to 9 pay a discounted rate.

Insider Tip: A lot of tourists do the La Fortuna Waterfall hike on their own, but going with a guide makes it so much better. That is a lot of stairs. So, the guide and their wealth of knowledge about the area, and their keen eyes for spotting wildlife, is the perfect distraction. The first time I did it on my own and it was pretty, but short and sweet. The second time I went with the guide, I took my time and enjoyed every part of the experience that much more.
