Children: Ages 5 and up are permitted to ride on the back of their parents. Minimum age to operate the ATV is 16 years old with driver’s license.
Restrictions: No prior ATV riding experience is necessary. Our Flamingo ATV tour guides will show you the basics and get you comfortable before we hit the trails. Most ATV rentals in Costa Rica require a valid driver’s license as most Costa Rica ATV tour routes require some highway driving. People with back and neck injuries should not participate and all guests will be asked to sign a waiver prior to departure.
Important: Papagayo ATV tours are popular, but the ATV tours departing from Flamingo Beach offer the best selection and the best off road trails, so the drive is well worth it. Bring along some extra cash and a small day pack for your belongings and make a day of it.
