Children: Ages 5 and up are permitted to ride on the back of their parents. Minimum age to operate the ATV is 16 years old with valid driver’s license.
Restrictions: No prior ATV riding experience is necessary. Our Flamingo ATV tour guides will show you the basics and get you comfortable before we hit the trails. Most ATV rentals in Costa Rica require a valid driver’s license as most Costa Rica ATV tour routes require some highway driving. People with back and neck injuries should not participate and all guests will be asked to sign a waiver prior to departure.
Insider Tip: This is probably one of the best ATV Tours in Guanacaste and great way to explore outside of Tamarindo. The view from the top is incredible and a great way to get oriented about where you are in Costa Rica. We love snorkeling the coral coves too like the locals do. And bring an appetite and cash for lunch. The beach restaurants are little hidden gems.
