Departures: Departs just prior to sunset daily around 4:30pm. Meeting at the ATV tour office at Flamingos Beach. Transportation available upon request from Papagayo Hotels for an additional fee. Exact meeting time and instructions will be provided on your confirmation voucher.

Children: Ages 5 and up are permitted to ride on the back of their parents. Minimum age to operate the ATV is 16 years old with valid driver’s license.
Restrictions: No prior ATV riding experience is necessary. Our Flamingo ATV tour guides will show you the basics and get you comfortable before we hit the trails. Most ATV rentals in Costa Rica require a valid driver’s license as most Costa Rica ATV tour routes require some highway driving. People with back and neck injuries should not participate and all guests will be asked to sign a waiver prior to departure.
Insider Tip: Flamingo beach is the perfect jumping off spot for exploring on ATV in Costa Rica. Sunsets in Costa Rica are legendary, but this is probably our favorite way to experience the sunsets in Guanacaste. Not only that, you get to see the sunset twice! How cool is that? Bring some cash along and a small day pack and take yourself a little beach picnic.
