First up is Canyoning. Starting at base camp, your canyoning guides will help you gear up with top of the line climbing & rappelling equipment. Then we will take a short walk through the cloud forest to the first waterfall. Your canyoning guides will instruct you how to safely descend the first waterfall. Once you get the hang of it, we will move on through a circuit of 5 more waterfalls. What a rush!!
Next stop, finding your inner child while scaling a 40 meter (131ft) high Ficus tree. You heard right, adults climbing trees. Sounds fun right? There are 3 different ways you can climb up the Ficus tree. Going up, you can choose from climbing through the hollow middle, navigate the climbing circuit of metal rods on the outside of the tree, or climb straight up using a harness and rock-climbing gear. Going down, you can choose to climb down, or for more adrenaline pumping action, choose to rappel straight down from any of the 3 platforms. Insider Tip: You can hit the Monteverde National Park of course, but you will not have nearly as much fun as you can at Finca Modelo. If seeking wildlife is your thing, they have you covered too.
