Children: Ages 4 and up are permitted to ride on the back of their parents. The minimum age to operate the ATV is 16 years old with a driver’s license.
Restrictions: No prior ATV riding experience is necessary. Our Monteverde ATV tour guides will show you the basics and get you comfortable before we hit the trails. Most ATV rentals in Costa Rica require a valid driver’s license as most Costa Rica ATV tour routes require some highway driving. In Monteverde, the ride is 90% off road trails. People with back and neck injuries should not participate. All guests will be asked to sign a waiver prior to departure.
