Finca Modelo, Monteverde Night Walk Details
Monteverde Night Tour Includes:
- * Round-trip transportation from most Monteverde & Santa Elena hotels
- * Access to the Finca Modelo private nature trails (Same cloud forest, less crowds)

- * Waterproof flashlight
- * Helmet, harness and all safety equipment and instruction for tree climbing in the cloud forest

Departures: Daily from Finca Modelo at 5:30 pm. Free transportation from your hotel begins around 5:00pm. Exact meeting instructions will be provided on your confirmation voucher.

Monteverde Night Tour Recommendations:
- * Dark colored clothing to navigate the trails in stealth
- * Sturdy secure tennis shoes or light hiking boots
- * Rain poncho
- * Towel and change of clothes for after the hike if you wish
- * Eco-friendly bug repellent
- * Reusable bottle of water (you can refill on site)
- * Camera (waterproof if possible)
- * Cash for tour balance, souvenirs, & tips for your guides and wait staff at the restuarant
Children: The minimum suggested age for the Monteverde night walk is 6 years old. However, for the tree climbing portion, children must fit securely in the safety harness. Smaller children under 8 years may not be able to participate in the treetop climbing portion of the tour.
Restrictions: You must be in good physical condition and able to fit into the safety equipment in order to participate in the tree-climbing portion of the night hike. Maximum group size is 10 people for your safety as well as personal attention.
Insider Tip: This is probably one of the coolest night tours in Costa Rica. The tree-climbing climbing at sunset is so unique in itself. But, the way they light up the Ficus tree makes it truly spectacular. And did we mention the food at their restaurant is mainly organic and grown right on sight? Perfect dinner date for the adventurous couple!
