Departures: Departs daily between 8am to 4pm. This is a private tour, so you choose your departure time, but keep in mind that Mercado Central closes at 6pm. Meeting location is at the Teatro Nacional in the center of San Jose. Exact meeting instructions will be provided on your confirmation voucher.

Children: All ages welcome!! Kids up to age 7 are free. Children 8 and over pay the same as an adult.
Restrictions: This tour is great for all ages and all activity levels. However, please keep in mind San Jose has a couple of hills and some uneven terrain. The good thing is, this is a private tour, so we can go at your pace. If you have any sort of disabilities or concerns, please contact us prior so we can tailor a route best for you.
Insider Tip: Try the ceviche at the Central Market!! Also, this tour departs according to your preference, but we recommend starting no later than 9 or 10 am to not run the risk of running into an afternoon rain. Or maybe, more importantly, to get your pick of the freshest treats in the market!
