Children: Recommended age is 7 and up, children as young as 5 are permitted but require an additional guide. Please contact us prior to booking a child younger than 7 to ensure we can accommodate you.
Restrictions: Canyoning in Costa Rica is a physically challenging activity, meaning you cannot participate if you have previous back or neck injuries or suffer from seizures, this activity is not suitable for you. We are happy to assist you however if you have physical limitations yet are very physically capable. Please just let us know what your limitations are when making the reservations so we can be prepared on the day of the tour.
Mixed Group? Not everyone in your family an adrenaline junkie? Many of the challenges like the waterfall rappel have alternative routes. Let us know your limitations and we will help you decide if this tour works for you.
Insider's Tip: If you have an active family, this is one of our favorite canyoning tours that is great for nearly all ages and activity levels. This tour is just challenging enough to satisfy the adrenaline junkies in your group, but also safe enough for active youngsters and even grandma to join in on the fun. With alternate routes for nearly every challenge, you can all be together at your own comfort level. Also, it is REALLY important to wear comfortable clothing and good shoes. No short shorts ladies, trust us on this one. The harnesses are not at all comfortable directly on your bare skin.
