Departures: Departs daily at the time of your choice between 8 am and 12pm. However depending the river flow and weather conditions, the operator may alter the time for the best experience. Pick up times begin about 30 minutes prior. Exact meeting instructions will be provided on your confirmation voucher sent via email.
Length: Approximately 4.5 hours depending the river speed.
Tubing Savegre River Recommendations:
- * Secure shoes for the river, no flip flops
- * Secure bathing suit/shorts and UV protective clothing
- * Towel & change of clothes for after the river run

Children: For safety reasons, the minimum age to tube Rio Savegre is 10 years old.
Restrictions: No prior tubing experience required; however, it is important that participants are in good physical condition and have basic swimming skills. Pregnant women or guests with recent operations or spine issues will not be permitted. You will be expected to sign a waiver upon arrival.

*Important Booking Notes: This tour provider offers private tours only, however they do require a minimum of 4 passengers on the tubing. If you are only 2, we can possibly combine with another couple on the same date for the tour to operate. In that case the tour would not be private, but the price remains the same. Any group of 4 or more will be private.
About Your Payment: This provider has strict payment policies. We only collect a small deposit to hold the tour spaces. You will receive a payment link on your confirmed voucher with payment instructions. Payments must be sent 72 hours prior to the tour date or your service will be canceled and your deposit will not be refunded. For peak holiday weeks such as Semana Santa and Christmas, they may request payment up to 7 days in advance.
** PLEASE NOTE: Due to the strictly enforced sales tax law that has been introduced in Costa Rica, sales tax may be added to the final payment made to the operator. Sales tax is already included in the deposit amount.
