Manuel Antonio ATV + Quepo Canyoning Recommendations:
- * Comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting dirty
- * Secure closed-toe shoes comfortable for hiking
- * Swimsuit (under your clothes)

- * (Optional) Change of clothes for after the tour (Consider bringing a re-used plastic bag to store your wet clothes as you will get very wet and muddy)

Children: Minimum age to drive an ATV is 16 years old with a valid driver’s license. Children as young as 5 can ride with their parents. Recommended age for Quepo Canyoning is 7 and up. Children as young as 5 are permitted but require an additional guide. Please contact us prior to booking a child younger than 7 to ensure we can accommodate you. Parents will be expected to sign a waiver taking responsibility for their child.
Restrictions: Must be in good physical condition with no back or neck injuries or any other conditions that prevent you from operating the ATVs safely. You will be expected to sign a waiver of consent to driver the vehicles at your own risk. Canyoning in Costa Rica is a physically challenging activity, meaning you cannot participate if you have previous back or neck injuries or suffer from seizures, this activity is not suitable for you. We are happy to assist you however if you have physical limitations yet are very physically capable. Please just let us know what your limitations are when making the reservations so we can be prepared on the day of the tour.
Itinerary Note: This tour can be broken up into 2 half-day tours departing in the morning or in the afternoon. Typically during the rainy season, it is better to do the Canyoning tour in the morning and the ATV portion in the afternoon if doing all in one day. Please specify your preference of 1 or 2 days in the special instructions box when placing your reservation.
Mixed Group? Not everyone in your family an adrenaline junkie? Many of the challenges like the waterfall rappel have alternative routes. Let us know your limitations and we will help you decide if this tour works for you.
Insider's Tip: If you have an active family and a full day available, this is a great way to pack in a whole lot of action into just one day of vacation. It is also cheaper than booking the activities separate as well. So, if you are on a budget but want to get the most out of your time in Manuel Antonio, this is a great option.

Our tours are covered by risk liability insurance, however if you cause damage to the ATVs due to negligent driving on your part, you will be held financially responsible for the damages. It is important to follow the guides instructions at all times. If you can do that, you will have a great time worry free.
