Restrictions: Subwing is a water sport that requires good physical condition and prior swimming & snorkeling experience. In choppy water, the boat ride can be a bit bumpy as well so people with back and neck injuries may prefer a larger more stable catamaran cruise.
Insider Tip: If you are traveling with family or a small group, and you do not need all the fancy amenities that a catamaran has, a small fast boat is the best way to get to Tortuga Island. You also get to do some island exploring, and the subwing is a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. It is actually pretty easy to figure out, the boat does most of the work, you just get to play.
