Departures: Tour departs at 8:00, 10:00, 12:00, 2:00, and 4:00 daily from the Crocodile Man Tours office in Tarcoles. Round trip transportation from most Jaco, Herradura, and Hermosa Hotels is available at an additional cost. Exact meeting instructions will be provided on your confirmation voucher.
Length: Approximately 2 hours, not including transportation.

Restrictions: Getting up close enough to touch an 18-foot long crocodile is not for the faint of heart. But so long as you are able to climb into the boat and back out, there are no other restrictions.
Insider Tip: If you travel to Costa Rica, everyone will tell you to stop at the Tarcoles Bridge on your way into Jaco to see the giant crocodiles there. At one time, there was a guy throwing chickens over the edge to attract them. It is impressive just from the bridge, but if you really want the best chance to see them up close and get great photos, do the tour!
