Departures: Two times daily from the Kayak Jaco base of operation in Playa Agujas at 8am or 1:30pm depending on tides. Exacting meeting instructions will be provided on your confirmation voucher. Playa Agujas is just a 20 minute drive from Jaco. If you have a vehicle, it is easy to find. Otherwise, optional transportation can be arranged at an additional cost.

Children: Minimum age is 12 years old.
Restrictions: You do not need prior SUP experience; however, you do need to be in good physical condition to paddle board. Our professional guides will do their best to assist everyone finding the best route using the best paddle techniques. We will take our time and paddle at a comfortable pace but consider paddling in the choppy sea can be extra taxing. For your safety we bring along safety kayakers for assistance in case you get tired and need help getting back.
Insider Tip: This is the perfect location in Jaco to paddle board. That said, this is a popular beach visited by the locals on the weekends. We recommend you book your tour on a weekday to have the best experience. Also, water shoes are highly recommended as Playa Agujas is a pretty rocky beach depending on the tides.
